Dr Mairi Stewart

Research and Development Director

Mairi graduated from Waikato University with a Bachelor of Science in 1998 and a Masters in Science in 2000. She then completed her PhD in Animal Science at Massey University in 2008. Her PhD validated infrared thermography as a non-invasive method for asssessing pain in cattle. Mairi was a Senior Scientist in animal health and welfare at AgResearch and has published her work in international peer-reviewed journals, proceedings and conference abstracts and has presented extensively at national and international conferences. Mairi has been with InterAg since March 2014 and brings with her broad livestock science and research experience, extensive project management and leadership skills and currently leads the Research & Development at InterAg.

Mark Wilson

Development Engineer

Mark graduated from the University of Waikato in 2011 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics). He worked in the Research and Development team at Dairy Automation Ltd from 2010 until 2013 when he moved to InterAg. Mark brings the engineering experience required for integrating and automating the technologies into in-shed systems on-farm.
